King County Metro is making major transit upgrades starting March 28. The agency will expand bus service with earlier morning trips, later evening hours, and more weekend routes across Seattle, the Eastside, and south King County. Metro is also launching all-door boarding systemwide, allowing riders to enter through any door to reduce delays and speed up travel. The changes are designed to improve connections to Sound Transit’s Link Light Rail system, including the new 2 Line Crosslake Connection between Seattle and the Eastside.
